Apple Crumble tart
My gran is an expert in making apple tarts or as we call them in France, tartes aux pommes. My earliest memories of making desserts with her is making apple tarts in her kitchen in the farm using the apples from her orchard. I have therefore a strong sentimental attachment to this dessert which also happens to be my dad's favourite dessert. My raw vegan version is an adaptation of mamie Rolande's recipe and I added a crumbly top to give it a wee British twist.
The Apple Crumble tart only contains:
- Coconut oil & flour
- Maple syrup
- Oat (gluten free)
